What They Wanted
An adult assisted living home wanted to update their Website to provide better information to relatives of potential residents. One of their main challenges was that, when there were no openings, potential clients would not contact them. Then, when there was an opening for a new resident, they would have to scramble to get a new resident. They also wanted to update their tri-fold brochure.
What We Did
We updated their color scheme to reflect a friendly, peaceful atmosphere and to appeal to potential clients (generally the middle-aged daughter of the resident).
We created a new site design that would convey the personalized care and family-like setting that their facility provides. We made the layout and navigation clear and simple. A photo gallery with popup image viewer was added to provide photos of the facility.
To capture potential clients, even when no openings were available, we created an email alert system. Visitors can sign up to receive an email when a new opening is available. A simple admin feature allows the client to login and manage the list of email addresses and send a mass email.
We set up Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, and Local Business Listing accounts for the client to improve their search engine ranking and monitor traffic to their site.
We also created a new full-color brochure and coordinated with a local printing company to print a small quantity.
Results
The client's Website now allows potential clients to easily find the information they need in order to make a good decision about their relative's care. The client now has a growing list of potential clients who can be emailed directly when an opening becomes available.
