A landscape construction company wanted a professional site that showed off photos of their work.
What They Wanted
The client needed a clean and professional Website. They wanted to edit content, upload testimonials and photos of jobs themselves. It was imporant to them that the site be flexible, with the ability to add new features later. They also had a short deadline: The site had to be up in 2 weeks in time for a trade show.
What We Did
Registered domain name
We provided them with a list of domain name options. When they selected the name they wanted, we registered it and set it up for them.
Upgraded logo
They already had a logo on their brochure, business cards, and trucks. We cleaned up their logo and added a gold foil effect.
Created color scheme
We gave them several options for color schemes that would be professional, up-scale, and natural.
Created Website
We created their site using Drupal CMS, which would allow them to edit content themselves, and also add new features in the future. First, we setup a skeleton test site with just the content and features. When everything worked the way they wanted, we designed the graphical layout. After they approved the design, we applied the layout to the site and made it available to the public.
Created custom graphic animation
We also create a custom "dream sequence" that shows a colored pencil drawing of a landscape design that fades into a photo of the actual landscape. This gives clients an idea of how their landscape ideas can become a reality.
Other services
We also setup Google Analytics so they could track their site traffic. We hosted their site on our servers and set up email accounts for all their employees. We also trained them on editing content and uploading photos.
Results
The client was very happy with the results. Several customers went to their site and contacted them after visiting their booth at the trade show.
