What They Wanted
They wanted a professional Website, a color brochure with dramatic photos, and a 2-sided color door hanger to put on houses in the neighborhood of completed jobs. They already had a logo that they liked.
What We Did
We designed a splashy home page that would showcase their main services in a dramatic way. The menus are designed to be easy to use.
The client wanted a vertical menu for the interior pages of the site, so we created a 2-column layout that would be clean and easily understandable. Special features include: sliding photo thumbnail carousel with popup lightbox full-size image viewer, interactive tabs provide quick access to secondary content areas without reloading the page, an estimate request form that sends form details to client's email, an embedded Google map of their location, and custom one-click lookups to let visitors view their business license and bond profiles on the government agencies' Websites without having to enter information in a search form.
We did Search Engine Optimization (SEO), including creating page titles and descriptions, including their target keywords in the content, creating a XML sitemap, and verifying that the pages render correct in Google Instant Preview. We also setup Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools accounts so that the client can monitor their Website traffic and search engine profile.
We created a bright, professional brochure that presented their services and benefits in a clear, motivating way. We purchased inexpensive but dramatic stock images from an online agency. We also worked with a local digital printing company to help get the brochures printed quickly in time for a trade show.
We created a door hanger that utilized pre-cut paper to reduce printing costs.
