What They Wanted
An innovative business startup wanted a cutting edge business name, logo, color scheme, brochure and e-commerce Website that would enable the user to customize a graphic decal that would be printed and shipped to the customer to be applied to a snowboard. He also wanted a community feel and enable people to become artists who upload their artwork for people to print and apply. The Website would include the following features:
- Image gallery
- Community features like member profiles, comments, and rating system
- E-commerce and custom fulfillment database
What We Did
Created business identity
After an appropriate business name was chosen and a domain name secured, we created logo options that would convey to potential clients the cutting edge image desired.
We created a color palette that would appeal to the young, active, outdoor audience and that would convey a high-tech feel.
Once these were chosen, the Website areas and navigation were roughed out. This was presented to the client for his approval.
Created Website
An extensive Website was created from scratch using JavaScript (jQuery) and Python to allow custom community features, interactive user interface, file upload, and e-commerce.
Created brochure
Next, we created a brochure that coordinated with the Website for a consistent business identity. This brochure visually displays product features and benefits, and explains the Website process.
Results
The client was very pleased with the Website and brochure. He immediately received interest in his new business venture and was able to secure funding for future Websites using his original idea. The client is planning to release the Website to the public in the near future.
