What They Wanted
A Mental Health Counselor wanted to focus on stress reduction workshops using a new technique and wanted a brochure and flyer that would not only attract attention, but also educate the public of the benefits of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBSR). She wanted her business identity to be simple, Zen-like, calm, warm and professional. Although she wasn’t ready for a Website, she wanted the look and feel of these marketing materials to be incorporated into a Website in the future.
What We Did
Created color palette
Since a business name was not needed at this time,
our focus was on choosing an appropriate color palette that would convey to
potential clients the simple, warm professional image that she wanted to show.
Created brochure
Once these were chosen, the brochure areas
were roughed out. A stock photo search was done to find appropriate images that
would impress upon the viewer the simple Zen-like image of her business as well
as images that reflected calm and would appeal to those under stress. This was
presented to the client for her approval.
Created flyer
Later, a one-page flyer was created to give an overview of the client's Stress Reduction workshops. We worked directly with the printing company to ensure quality and to save the client time.
Results
The client was very pleased with the brochure and flyer. She immediately received interest in her workshops from medical facilities because of the professional and informative brochure.
